Desert sage cleanses living spaces by repelling harmful and heavy energies. It can also be used to purify objects and people. Traditionally, the fumigation ritual was used to alleviate negative energies and purify body and soul.

This sage is very strong. It is easier to burn with other herbs such as White Sage, Cedar or Sweetgrass.

Although considered as sage by First Nations, botanically it belongs to the Asteraceae family in the Artemesia genus like Mugwort and Canadian Prairie Sage.

Description

In a fumigation shell or small heat-resistant container, form a mound with a small quantity of leaves. Light the tip of the mound with a match. Leave the leaves to burn for a few seconds.

Note: this incense must be used in a well-ventilated area.

Then let the mound burn in the chosen place, or take it around the room with you.
